To celebrate our first year, Divegenie now has a new look and feel. We've kept all of the functionality, tweaked some areas as well as adding some new functionality. We hope you enjoy the new look website.

We are pleased to announce that Pirate FM (UK) are now providing divegenie forecasts on the Pirate FM website. The radio station is using four website plug-ins for sites around Cornwall (U.K.) and the forecasts are already proving very popular. The website plug-ins are free for anyone to use. They enable you to display the current forecast on your own website. Just select the 'website plugin' button from the forecast page for your chosen dive site, and then follow the instructions.

The divegenie Google Earth visibility maps have been listed in the offical Google Earth Gallery (under 'ocean'). In response to this, we've created the global visibility maps page, where you can use Google Maps or Google Earth to view all of the current visibility maps for any region. Enjoy!

We are pleased to announce that we are now providing weather forecasts for each of the dive sites on divegenie. This means that each dive site now shows wind speed, wind direction and air temperature forecasts, along side the usual in-water visibility, plankton and water temperature forecasts. To find out more, have a look at an example forecast table.
